Ms. Julie’s Place Home Child Care approached me to develop a complete brand identity that would reflect the nurturing, trustworthy, and welcoming environment at the heart of the daycare. As a newly launched, self-started business, the goal was to create a cohesive visual identity that would establish credibility with parents while still feeling playful and inviting for children.
I began by conducting research into daycare branding trends and identifying key visual elements that resonate with both target audiences, being parents seeking professionalism and safety, and children drawn to warmth and friendliness. Using this insight and the client's preferences, I created a mood board potraying warm autumn colour palate and bohemian aesthetic.
The primary logo, along with secondary mark variations, was designed to be versatile across different applications—from signage to digital use. I also created a large-format banner to be used both in-person and on social media platforms to help solidify brand presence. In addition, I developed a series of customizable social media templates that Julie could use to share daily updates, announcements, and activities. These templates were built in a way that ensured ease of use while maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand style.
All design work was created using Adobe Illustrator and Canva, allowing for both professional polish and client-friendly editing capabilities. The final result was a warm, consistent brand system that gave Ms. Julie’s Place a confident, approachable presence in a highly competitive space.
